Yup, "Ciara," like the singer. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people call me by that intro to 1, 2 Step — "Ci-ara, this beat is..." Tell me you know that song!
Okay, seriously, here's a little about me.
In April 2025, my husband and I eloped beneath the redwoods — surrounded by towering trees and the kind of quiet that makes everything feel significant. It was simple, intentional, and honestly a little surreal (in the best way). Getting married like that changed how I see weddings forever.
It made me realize how fast the day moves. How the nerves turn into laughter. How the moments you didn’t plan often become your favorites. And how important it is to actually be present instead of just performing for a timeline.
That perspective comes with me to every wedding and session.
I’m calm when things feel chaotic, gently guiding when needed, and quick to hype you up when you’re feeling awkward (because everyone feels awkward for at least five minutes — it’s normal). My goal isn’t to stage your entire day. It’s to help you settle in and enjoy it.
My faith shapes the way I see love and commitment — not in a heavy way, but in a this-matters kind of way. I believe the stories I’m invited into are gifts, and I don’t take that lightly.
If you value depth, devotion, and a wedding day that feels more meaningful than staged — let's be friends.
p.s. Jesus loves you dearly.
Whether we’re walking the streets of downtown or standing barefoot in the country, I approach each session with intention and creativity. I believe in a hybrid blend of soft direction, organic documentation, and editorial stills. I'm a lover of all things vintage and chase after nostalgia (yes, that means I shoot film!).
Each gallery I deliver is crafted not just for now, but for the years ahead—for the day you want to remember the way your loved ones at you mid-laugh, or the way your child’s hand fit into yours.
